Refreshing Home-made Cherry Lemonade

Summer is almost here… I’ve never been much into sodas. But when it is hot and humid, mere iced water rarely quenches my thirst. Store bought carbonated drinks or Italian sodas are steeped in sugar.

Here’s a simple, yet refreshing lemonade option to quench your thirst on hot, humid summer day!

2 lemon
2-3 tbsp Maple syrup
a handful of cherries, pitted and sliced

Squeeze juice of one lemon into large jar. Thinly slice the other lemon and add to the jar. Add 2-3 cups of chilled water. Add maple syrup and sliced cherries. Stir well. Refrigerate for later use or top with ice and serve immediately.
